Never Miss a Thought!

My name is Susan Coursey, Editor of Digital Smartpen Reviews. As a volunteer for many years in county school systems and recently as a volunteer tutor, I’ve worked with students from a variety of backgrounds, including gifted and talented (GT) students, learning disabled and special needs students, students from low income families and those learning English as a second language.

I’ve watched teachers struggle to educate all students in large classes to reach their academic potential.  I have seen first hand the issues disadvantaged students face particularly in homes where parents are unable to help students close achievement gaps in multiple skill areas.

I have observed the issues teachers struggle with and wished there was a way to make the teaching and parental involvement processes easier. These are just some of the reasons why I’m excited about the potential of Livescribe digital smartpens.’

Livescribe Smartpen Uses

Handwritten formula

If you browse around the site you’ll find information about how to use smartpens to make it easier to deliver presentations, take notes, study, prepare for tests, and write papers in almost any subject, including reading, foreign language, math, science, and even art and music.

Since introduction of the Livescribe Pulse in 2008, Livescribe has introduced the Echo Smartpen product line with the same features and functionalities of the Pulse Product Line.

Livescribe has also introduced many applications and accessories of interest to Livexcribe Smartpen owners and users. A couple of the new applications are particularly useful for engaging students in interactive activities, exercises and games.

Using learning resources like the Livescribe Sticky Notes helps kids learn while having fun.

I’ve also provided information about how to use smartpen technology to help students with different specialized needs, including gifted and talented students as well as at risk students and students with attention deficit disorder and dyslexia.

The same features that make smartpens invaluable for education also make them great tools for marketing, health and business professionals as well as general and  personal use. I hope my site helps you find the smartpen that’s right for you and get the most out of it.

Thanks for visiting!

Do you mind if I quote a couple of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your website? My blog is in the very same area of interest as yours and my users would genuinely benefit from a lot of the information you present here. Please let me know if this ok with you. Appreciate it!

      Hi Zackery Mori,
As long as you credit the info as coming from http://digitalsmartpenreviews.com it would be fine. Is your site for parents, educators and students? If so, perhaps I could post your blog on my site or in my newsletter. I would like to include posts of users who have had experience using the Livescribe pens, or a user of another type of digital smartpen product such as Papershow.

  3. Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is important and everything. Nevertheless imagine if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could certainly be one of the greatest in its field. Very good blog!
